MINI FILE FOLDERS - Another SWAP Item

Hi again-

Here are some Mini File Folders that I needed to embellish for another swap that I was in. The theme was 'LOVE & ROMANCE'. I had to use reds and pinks. I a really cute rubber stamp to create this "way cool' image. I punched the image out using a sqaure punch, doubled matted it on black so that it would "pop" and that is how I created it.

HANDMADE TAGS

Hello All-

Just checking in to let you know that I created some TAGS for a SWAP that I am apart of. Just in case, you don't know what a SWAP is, let me try to explain this to you.

A SWAP is a group of people (let's say 10 people) who decide that they want to trade certain Scrapbooking Items (purchased or handmade) with each other so that they can use these items in a LO, Card Making, or just to have. Let me give you an example. The theme of the SWAP could be "LOVE/ROMANCE" Reds & Pinks. The things that will be 'swapped' are BRADS/EYELETS, Tags, Photo Mats, etc. These items need to follow the theme. The brads would need to be either Red, or Pink, or they could be Hearts. The Tags could be Red with a punched out heart on it as an embellishment. Are you starting to get it? Hope so.

There is a HOST of the swap in which all the items that you decided to either buy or make are sent to. The HOST, once all swapped items are received, then organizes the items in such a way, that each of the participants gets whatever was made/bought by the other people.

I hope that made sense....LOL!

So....I joined a swap with the theme AFRICAN SAFARI. I decided that I wanted to make the TAGS. I am attaching the tags that I created for this swap. I had a lot of fun making them. I used colors that represented Africa and a safari, like browns, oranges, greens - jeweled tones. I then stamped images on the tags, inked around the edges and VOILA!!! - I made Safari Tags.

Take a look at them and let me know what you think.

Thanks for stopping by!
