March Flowers

Hi everybody,

Today's card is all about showcasing the flowers. I individually stamped the flower using Memento Ink and then used a Marvy Uchida Brush Marker for the stems. I spritzed the inked stamp w/water and then stamped the image. Added some gem stones because I love me some bling...and voila! The card is complete!

I hole you try the ink, spritz, and stamp technique. It's alot of fun and you will just love the final product. Thanks for stopping by!

Distressing....

Hello all & Happy Monday!

Today's card is a tribute to Tim Holtz's Distressing inks. I sooo love them. I used the distressing inks on the diamond pattern (Spiced Maralade & Peeled Paint)by inking up the two colors and then spritzing it w/water, and then stamping the image. I did the exact same technique w/the butterfly and then sponged color on it and added gem stones.

I love the color combo and I really like how it came out. Thanks for stopping by and see ya tomorrow!

Happy TGIF!!! - Sending Sunshone

Happy Friday all....

The weekend is HERE and I am so glad. My children are will be off for the next week for Easter Recess, so you know what that means - MORE CRAFTING!!!...at least I hope so...LOL!

Okay, so here's my card for you today. Since Spring is here and I am so looking forward to the lovely weather we're going to be having, I created another card that represents Spring. I used HeroArts A Real Violet flower stamp as the focal point of the card. I did this really cool techique when stamping the flowers. I used Memento Ink on each of the flowers and Marvy Uchida Brush Markers in the stems. Next, I spritzed water on the stamp and then stamped the image. This gave the image a water-colored look - LOVIN' IT!!! You just gotta try it!!!! I added foam dots to give dimension to the flowers too! Love foam dots!!!

I hope you like it and thanks again for stopping by my neck of the woods!
Have a SUPER FANTASTIC weekend!!!!

Flowers Say Hello from the Heart!

Happy Hump Day all-

Today's card was something that came to me sometime last week. I drew a sketch of it and decided to giv it a try and I just love the way it came out. I used one flower stamp (HeroArts Whimsical Flower LL787)and colored the flowers in using my PrismaColor pencils. I added gem stones in the middle of the flower to add some bling and then used a rectangle scalloped edge punch to punch the flowers out. I stamped the word sentiment (HeroArts C2553) and added foam dots. This card reminds me that Spring is here and Summer is ring around the corner!

Thanks for stopping by.

You're Special...

Hello all-

This is a super quick and easy card to make. Wha I did was punch out a shape and then mask the base card off. Next I used some Tim Holtz's Distress Ink in the center of the masked off shape. I stamped the flower in the center and added a pink pearl in the center, stamped the sentiment and voila!....it's done! Alot of times for me, I get oe use to creating layers and adding this and that, but in creating this card it reminded me of the basic one-layer card - you know, when you allow the stamped image to speak for itself. I hope you like te card and that it inspires you to go back to the basics - some cadstock, ink, and a stamp you love is really all you need!

HAPPY ST.PATRICK DAY!!!

Hello all-

Happy St. Patrick's Day everybody!!! here in NYC, every year, there is a parade in midtown that starts at 11am and ends at 5pm. It is also televised for those who prefer to watch it on TV. Today's card i inspired by today's holiday. I created a monochromatic (that means all in one particuliar color) card all in green. Green is my son's favorite color, so he loved this card. I hope you do too!

The stamp is by Stampedous and I colored it in using PrismaColor Coloed Pencils. I also used Ranger's Inkssential's Glossy Accent to add a bit of dimension.

GO GREEN Challenge from Candy Shoppe Designs

Hello all-

This is going to be a real quick post. I am submitting this card for a GO GREEN Challenege. We were asked to use everyday items that you use around the house on our project. On my card, the brown paper is actually a PAPER BAG that I ran thru my CuttleBug and dsitressed using Tim Holtz Broken China. The second thing I used was the BLUE SCALLOP EDGE. That is actually BLUE PAINTERS TAPE that I layered so that I could punch it. Got run and get this linked up. Thanks for stopping by and I hope that this inspired you to GO GREEN on your next project!

Hello all-

Here is my card for today. I used yellow & orange as the colors because I am setting my mind for Spring and what better way to do that than thru colors and thru my cards.

I just love this stamp. It is by Heroarts and I used Memento ink. This ink is so vibrant when you stamp an image. I gotta find where I can get these ink in a larger size...LOL!

I hope the card is a reflection of the what is to come - warm weather, sun shiny days and beautiful flowers. Thanks for stopping by!

Happy March 1st - Spring is coming....

Good Morning all and Happy Mrach 1st!

I can not believe that it's March already. This year is zooming by and I am so looking forward to Spring. Here in NYC, we have had quite a bit of snow and I am just about all snowed out. I want to see the pretty flowers and butterflies!

Today's card is inspired by the spring and flowers. I used a great flower stamp by Stampenous as the focal point of the card. I colored it in using PrismaColor Colored Pencils and then added a layer of Inkessentials Glossy Accents to the edges of each petal. I love the shine and dimension it gives. This Glossy Accents is my NEW favorite thing now...LOL!

I hope you like the card ad I hope it inspires you to get your flower stamps out and get to stamping. Thanks so much for stopping by!
