Sending Love Your Way

Hey everybody -

Yesterday, here in NYC we had a really bad snow storm. It started Tuesday evening at around 11pm and snowed literally all day Wednesday. The Mayor here closed the schools because of the storm - but it was good for me because I got to make cards and layouts - Yay!

I created a Valentine's Day card for my hubby. This is one of the 5 cards that he gets ....I know...we've been giving each other 5 cards for as long as we've been together (it's been 19 years) because when we try and get cards, we see so many cards that would be so fitting for us that we just get them and it always ends up being 5 cards...

Anyway, here's my card. I created a base card in brown and then distressed a tag using Tim Holtz's Distress Inks - Peeled Paint, Broken China, and Vintage Photo. Next, I used Tim Holtz's Mini Mask Floret and masked off a flourish. I sparyed the tag w/my Mini Mister and it created a splatter-like image on tag. Wrapped it in twine to give it that Masculine feel. I hope you like it.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Oh Kimberly, how could NO ONE leave a comment on your SWEET CARD and BLOG ENTRY?? I LOVED your card and especially LOVED reading how you each get FIVE CARDS!! I feel the same way! I see SO MANY at the shop that I want to buy them ALL! So I'd have to say you're doing fine with giving ONLY FIVE! :) Hope your Valentine's Day was filled with SMILES and time to craft a little, too. Love, Karen ox
