Valentine's Day Card!!!!

One more day til the weekend! Yay!...sorry so late with posting this card but I have been so busy....but here we go!

This is a Valentine Day's card that I made from a sketch that I sketched out while on line at the supermarket...and YES...it was a LONGGGGG line...LoL!!! I think that it came out nice. I hope you like it. Thanks for stopping by!

CAARDVARKS Challenge - Red Hearts Love Card

Hello all-
HAPPY MONDAY! HAPPY MONDAY! HAPPY MONDAY

Today's card is a card that I am entering into a Caardvarks Challenge. When you get a chance, head on over there - www.caardcarks.com and checkout their site. It is AWESOME. All I ask is that you get a cup of coffee and a snack because you are going to be on it forever! It's a great blog chock full of great stuff.

My card measures 4.25 x 5.5 and the 2nd layer is a quarter inch smaller. I used a HeroArts Block Stamp - Trio Heart Border C3025 as the background. Next I stamped that same image, colored it with my PrismaColor Colored Pencils and cut them out. I added foam dots and adhered them to the 2nd layer of the card. I also used HeroArts Clear Design Stamp Hugs and Hearts CL301 and stamped the word sentiment LOVE in red. I hope you like it! I love the striking look the red hearts give to the background!

A FRIEND IS FOREVER!

Happy TGIF Everybody!

This is going to be quick. I have to take my daughter to the doctor, so here's my card for the day. I love the color combination Orange and Blue and just in case you didn't know, they are Complimentary colors on the color wheel - and that just means they are colors that go together/compliment each other. I have listed the stamps that I used and one of them was a Pattern Stamps by Martha Stewart and I love them!!!!

Hello all-

Hope your Wedneday is going great.

Today's card is actual an invitation to a dinner party that I am hosting. The colors are Grey, Black, Red w/white as the accent color. It's a Valentine party that I am having for a few close friends & hubby. I am posting one of the invitations. I have two different invitations and four couples are invited. Let the CARD be the FOCUS...

Hello everyone and HAPPY TUESDAY!!!

Today's card I love making because I got to one of my favorite things - COLOR!!! I remember being a little girl coloring in my coloring books. I took it soooo seriously. Outlining the image with a dark line, and then coloring the inside with that same color, but very softly...you know, so the image would sort of pop! Well, at that time, I had no idea that I was training myself for bigger and better things -CARD MAKING & PAPER CRAFTING!!

This card that I created I did not put a word sentiment. I left it blank so that the embellishments and layers would totally be the focus. I colored the owl in using my PrismaColor Colored Pencils - love them!

I hope you like the card and that it inspires you to create a card where your design is the focus!
