COLOR! Color! and more COLOR! - So Thoughtful

Happy TGIF!!!!

I am so glad that the weekend is here. I have so many things planned and so I am anxious to start hanging with my family and enjoying the activities!
Here is my COLOR Card for today. This was really east to make as well as super simple! I love saying that....SUPER SIMPLE....LOL! There are 3 steps to creating this card.

I hope you like it and please keep in mind - you don't have to copy the card exactly. You can also tweek it where you want to and make it your own. The card is here just for inspiration. Have a great weekend and thanks so much for stopping by!

HOW-TO Instructions

Step 1: Base Card is white. Attach colored strips of Bright Colored cardstock.
Yellow measures 4.75" x 1"
Orange & Blue measures 3.75" x 1

Step 2: Stamp the word sentiment on both the Yellow Cardstock
Stamp the Flourish image on the Orange Cardstock
Stamp the word sentiment on the Blue Cardstock

Step 3: Attach the Yellow Cardstock strip to Base card - adhere Blue Prima Flower
Attach the Orange Cardstock strip to Base card - adhere punched butterfly
Tie ribbon around Blue Cardstock, add foam adhesive, and adhere to card

See....how hard was that? SUPER SIMPLE :-)

COLOR! COLOR! and more COLOR!

Hello all-

Happy Hump Day!
Here in NYC it is a beautiful and cool 84 degrees and the flowers are looking so beautiful. The colors of the flowers are SO vibrant & have inspired me that this week the cards I make will be fun!....bright!...and full of color!

This is a Thank You card for someone VERY special to me ( I don't want to name who it is for because she visits my blog daily and I want to surprise her) and I hope that she likes it!
So, without further ado, here is my creation. Enjoy! And thanks for stopping by!

HOW-TO Instructions

Step 1: Base Card 5 1/2 x 4

Step 2: 2nd Layer - 5 1/4 x 3 3/4 - Cuttlebug this using Swiss Dots. Adhere to card

Step 3: Cut curve stem from green cardstock. Cut two leaves out of same green cardstock and bend slightly to create dimension. Adhere to card

Step 4: Tie bow with Orange Ribbon and attach where the leaves meet on the stem of the flower

Step 5: Punch out 2' Scallop Circle out of Orange Cardstock. Using paper piercer, poke holes on the scallop part of punch. Adhere to card using a foam dot

Step 6: Punch out a circle from yellow cardstock. Take the punched out circle and run it thru your CuttleBug using Swiss Dots. Attach it to the center of flower using a foam dot.

Step 7: Stamp word sentiment and adhere to card.

KISS - Keep It Simple Scrappers/Stampers - Card #2

Hello-
Here is the 2nd card as promised. Super Simple.

Base Card is 4x6. Cut pattern paper to 4x3. Used the EK Success Key Hole Border Punch on the top of the Pattern paper. Put Red Prima Flower w/brown button in th center. Added a ribbon, tied a bow, stamped the sentiment and Voila! Super Simple Card.

IKEA PILLOW - Black & White Inspiration




Good Morning all-
My color inspiration today is an IKEA Pillow that I have on my leather couch. I just love this pillow because of the geometric pattern and against my couch, it pops. I took a picture of the pillow and uploaded it along with the card. I am so interested to see what creations you have come up with by using the patterns and colors around you.
